Changeable and Showery (Special) WELLINGTON, May 8. Following is the special forecast for Southland issued by the Meteorological office this evening for the period ending 5 p.m. tomorrow:— Moderate to fresh westerly to south-westerly winds. The weather changeable with occasional showers, but fair intervals; temperatures rather cooler.
After a light shower yesterday morning, the weather in Invercargill became warm and sunny.
THE TIDES.—High water, Invercargill, 3.25 a.m.» 3.46 p.m.; Bluff, 2.44 a.m., 3.05 p.m.; Riverton, 1.44 a.m., 2.05 p.m.; Oreti Beach, 1.53 a.m., 2.14 p.m. THE SUN.—Rises, 7.15 a.m.; sets, 6.22 p.m.
