Changeable and Showery (Special) WELLINGTON, May 8. Following is the special forecast for Southland issued by the Meteorological office this evening for the period ending 5 p.m. tomorrow:— Moderate to fresh westerly to south-westerly winds. The weather changeable with occasional showers, but fair intervals; temperatures rather cooler.

After a light shower yesterday morning, the weather in Invercargill became warm and sunny.
