Flying Officer R. G. Lund, who has been spending short leave in Invercargill, returned north yesterday. Mr W. F. H. Stone, secretary of the Invercargill Returned Services Association, left Invercargill yesterday afternoon for Dunedin. He will attend a sitting of the War Pensions Board today, tomorrow and Thursday and will return to Invercargill on Thursday night. Guests at the Grand Hotel include Messrs W. A. Sutton, A. Coles, K. Simpson (Wellington), R. J. Shannon (Temuka), S. A. Mann (Timaru), G. S. Magorian, S. Geeson (Dunedin), Mrs K. G. Shrimpton, Mrs C. Inglis (Queenstown), Mr and Mrs C. P. Griffiths (Tarras).
