STRAIN IMPOSED ON MR CHURCHILL
Doctors Take Precautions To Guard His Health
(Rec. 12.30 a.m.) LONDON, April 28. Mr Churchill’s physicians are taking special precautions to see that his health does not suffer as a result of the extra strain imposed by invasion preparations. The doctors are handicapped by the fact that the Prime Minister, despite warnings, insists on working about 18 hours a day, but from time to time they persuade him to undergo an examination by specialists. A close associate of Mr Churchill says that considering his age and illnesses and the burdens he carries, Mr Churchill maintains a very high level of health. There are times when it is realised that he us doing too much, but he refuses to slacken off.
