Late News RUSSIANS EXPECT NEW VICTORIES

(Rec. 2 a.m.) LONDON, April 25. The Russians expect great new victories when the weather clears on the Russian front and the present lull ends. The Moscow radio says the ground will be dry and the rivers will return to their courses; then the scene will be set for new and unheal’d of victories.

The German News Agency reports that Luftwaffe bomber formations are repeatedly attacking Russian supply centres at Kiev, Korosten, Fastov and Sarny. This indicates that the German High Command believes that the areas will be important in the forthcoming operations.
