CONDITIONS IN DAIRY FACTORIES

Sir,—Once again I, like many others, have noticed that “Devon Born” has taken up his pen to write on a subject about which he appears to knownothing. It certainly looks as if he has (as he says himself) been thunderstruck when he says the dairy factory boys have a job with a seat bn it. Being a dairy factory worker myself, and not having the time at my disposal which “Devon Born” appears to have, I nevertheless find time to advise your correspondent pot to visit too many dairy factories where the men are wet through with sweat and water and tell them they have padded seat jobs. WET FEET.
