BRITAIN AND U.S. IN AGREEMENT .(Rec. 7 p.m.) LONDON, April 8. ‘‘British and American representatives during the talks on civil aviation reached the conclusion that 'there is sufficient agreement between them to justify the expectation that final dispositions can be reached at an international conference,’.’ states an official announcement by the Lord Privy Seal, Lord Beaverbrook. “They have in mind that the Government of the Soviet Union apd other Governments would likewise enter conversations. Before such an international conference the Governments of the United Kingdom and the United States agreed that international control should govern a considerable field of technical matters. They,have . arranged to continue technical conversations for the purpose of reaching a detailed agreement on several aspects of this field.”
