CABINET RESHUFFLE

Mr Sullivan Acting Prime Minister (P.A.) AUCKLAND, April 8. Before leaving New Zealand today the Prime Minister, Mr Fraser, announced that during his absence the Minister of Munitions and Supply, the Hon. D. G. Sullivan, would be acting Prime Minister and that the Defence Minister, the Hon. F. Jones, had, taken over the duties of Minister of broadcasting. This post has be'en held by the Hon. D. Wilson, who has been appointed High Commissioner in Canada. Mr Fraser added that the Minister for Rehabilitation, the Hon. C. F. Skinner, had been appointed Commissioner of Forestry, a post previously in the hands of Mr Barclay. He said Forestry and Lands should go together and Mr Skinner held the Lands portfolio.
