The above sheep are all well grown open woolled Romneys, noted for constitution. They are early shorn and dipped. Ewe hoggets are very even, showing a lot of quality. Mr Watkins has always selected good Romney sires and for the last 2 or 3 years rams from the well known stud, of R. D. Smith, McNab, have been used.
