MORE BIRTHS IN CITY
Vital Statistics For Quarter In the last three months there has been a big increase in the number of births registered in Invercargill compared with the corresponding period last year. Fewer deaths have been recorded, but the number of marriages has. shown a substantial increase. During March there were two more births in Invercargill compared with February. The number of marriages registered in March was 37 against only 17 in February. The figures for the qua'rterly period this year and for last month, together with a comparison of the figures for the same periods the previous year, are as follows:— MARCH .
