NO CO-OPERATION

Labour And Communist Parties (P.A.) * WELLINGTON, March 31. The secretary of the Wellington. Labour Representation Committee states that the committee had discussed the question of co-operation with the Communist Party with similar results as previously—it does not and will not co-operate with any other political party. If the Communist Party nominates candidates for local body elections then the arguments used and the statements made by their speakers during the general election about the Democratic Labour Party will apply to themselves. It is reaffirmed that there is not room in Wellington for two Labour parties and the door of the Labour Party is wide open for all people who will accept and abide by its principles. Candidates of the Communist Party are just as much opponents as those of ratepayers and its kindred associations.
