NATIONAL SAVINGS IN INVERCARGILL
National war savings investments in Invercargill yesterday totalled £462 and brought the amount received this week to £10,407. This figure exceeds the weekly quota of £1634 by £8773. .ITiis is the city’s 121st weekly success. During the financial year which ended yesterday the city raised £97,956 in war savings deposits and bond sales. The city’s annual quota was £84,968, so that Invercargill has already raised £12,988 towards the quota for the year ending March 31, 1945.
