LONG SLEEP ENDS

(Rec. 6.30 pun.) JOHANNESBURG, July 17. Anna Swanepoel, who 27 years ago fell asleep in her Transvaal home, died in her sleep at the age of 53. In 1921 she was awake for a brief period. Anna Swanepoel in 1910 fell in love with a man whose parents disapproved the match. He killed himself. When Anna Swanepoel heard the news she was afflicted with acute hysterical catalepsy and fell asleep.
