Commercial NATIONAL BANK’S PROFIT

(P.A.) WELLINGTON, July 11. Cabled advice has been received from London by the general manager of the National Bank of New Zealand that the net profit for the year to March 31 was £88,070. The directors recommend the payment of a Pinal dividend of 2V2 per cent, for the halfyear ended March, which will absorb £33,438, leaving a balance of £117,887 to be carried forward.
