NO EXTRA FERTILIZER FOR TOP-DRESSING
Same Ration As Last Year (Special) WELLINGTON, July 11. “The quantity of fertilizer for crops and top-dressing grassland will be the same as was available to farmers during the rationing year which ended on June 30 last,” stated the Minister of Agriculture, the Hon. J. G. Barclay, when referring to the 1943-44 fertilizer rationing year. The Minister appealed to all farmers and others associated with the distribution of fertilizers to comply strictly with the rationing regulations. “While present fertilizer stocks allow for a continuation of the previous ration” continued the Minister, “the Government is giving close attention to the future position of fertilizer stocks which will be reviewed as considered necessary.” '
