TWO AIRMEN KILLED
Night Flying Accident (P.A.) WELLINGTON, January 28. Two members of the Royal New Zealand Air Force, both residents of Wanganui, lost their lives during a night flying test at a South Island air station on Wednesday when an aircraft crashed. The personnel concerned were:— Sergeant Louis John Norfolk Gumbley; father, Mr C. N. Gumbley, 64 Bignell street, Wanganui. Acting Corporal Eric Courtney Bell; mother, Mrs J. C. Bell, Springvale, road, Wanganui.
