ATTACK ON DAKAR EXPECTED

(Rec. 9 p.m.) LONDON, October 1. European women and children are being evacuated from Dakar, Vichy officially announces, after having stated that the arrangements had been cancelled. Berlin radio says that French opinion believes an attack on Dakar is not improbable in view of the occupation of Madagascar.
