SHORTAGE OF TENNIS AND GOLF BALLS
(Rec. 12.30 a.m.) MELBOURNE, Oct. 2. Golf and tennis in Australia are expected to end early next year because of a shortage of balls. The manager of a large sports store said today he believed that tennis would be finished before Christmas and golf would probably last only until March.
