MORE PEOPLE TRAVEL BY TRAIN
No doubt because of the petrol and tyre shortages more and more people are travelling by train these days. This tendency is reflected in the returns for the Southland section of the railways for the four-weekly period ended August 15. The returns for the period are as follows, those for the corresponding period of 1941 being given for
