GREY LADIES’ SECTION

(P.A.) \ WELLINGTON, August 19.

The formation of the Grey Ladies’ Section of the Red Cross Society is in progress in New Zealand. This is a hospital visitation and recreation providing service, the' members of which possess a certain degree of training and qualify for the use of a standard uniform. They will work with the permission of the hospital superintendents concerned under specially appointed sisters or officers, helping to maintain the morale and happiness of patients in all types of hospitals.
