R.S.A. MEMBERSHIP. — The membership of the Invercargill R.S.A. at the end of July was 1133 compared with 875 at the corresponding date last year. This figure includes members of sub-associations as well as of the city association. About 60 returned men of the present war are also Included in the total. ANNUAL MEETING OF S.I.M.U.—The South Island Motor Union is to hold its annual meeting in Christchurch on September 25, it was reported at the meeting of the general committee of the Automobile Association (Southland) last night. It was decided to leave to the emergency committee the question of nominating officers for the union for the ensuing year. The S.I.M.U. Mutual Insurance Association wrote stating that its annual meeting would be held In Christchurch on September 24. It was decided to nominate the retiring directors of the association, Messrs W. R. Carey and C. G. Curtis, for re-election. ,
