NEW ZEALAND OFFICER IN RECENT RAID

(Special Correspondent, N.Z.P.A.) (Rec. 6.30 p.m.) LONDON, June 11. Lieutenant-Commander H. J. C. George, of Auckland, commanded the landing operations during the commandos’ recent raid between Boulogne and Le Touquet. “It was a most interesting party with plenty of fireworks. That is all I can say,” he said. Lieutenant-Commander George participated in the first raid on Lofoten and in several others.
