Mainly Fair (Special) WELLINGTON, June 2. Following is the special weather forecast for Southland issued by the Meteorological Office, Wellington:— Moderate easterly winds predominating; some scattered drizzle on the coast, but the weather for the most part fair; temperatures cold with some sharp frosts inland. After a heavy frost of 12 degrees the weather in Invercargill yesterday was beautifully fine and sunny. This morning at 1 o clock light rain was falling There was a light wind from the north."
