MYSTERIOUS EXPLOSIONS ON U.S. FREIGHTER

Three mysterious explosions gravely damaged a United States merchantman while it was taking oil. The explosions also killed at least four and injured many members of the crew. The explosions apparently originated in the boiler room and near the bridge. The Mexican authorities immediately drew up heavy guards for the protection of the oilfields and refineries.
