FIRE IN GARAGE

The Invercargill Fire Brigade received a call yesterday afternoon to the residence of Mr K. Smyth, 15 Duke street. An outbreak of fire had occurred In a detached garage and woodshed, which was severely damaged. It is thought that the fire was caused by sparks from a rubbish bin alongside the building.
