MASKS ON TRAM LIGHTS TO BE REMOVED
The masks which are at present attached to the headlights of the trams in Invercargill are to be removed, according to a decision reached by the City Council at its meeting last night. In moving the motion Cr W. Aitchison said that with the mask on the motorman could not see more than two yards in front of him, and thus the risk of accident was increased. The motion was seconded by Cr W. H. Thomas.
