Rain Developing (Special) WELLINGTON, March 5. Following is the special weather forecast for Southland issued by the Meteorological Office, Wellington:— Fresh to strong westerly winds; the weather fair and mild at first, but rain later developing from the west. Although the sun shone brightly yesterday a strong westerly wind blew in Invercargill until the late afternoon. The weather at 1 o’clock this morning was mild and overcast with a light breeze from the west. The barometer reading was 30.08 in. (steady).
