MIXED FOURS TOURNAMENT A mixed fours bowls tournament was held on the R.S.A. and Southland greens yesterday by the Southland Ladies’ Bowling Association. The proceeds will be allotted to the R.S.A. building extension fund. Wins were secured by the following teams: W. F. Brown, three; Blomfield, one; Breen, three; Credington, one; Hagen, three; Sommerville, two; Birch, one; Spencer, one;

Clent, three; Brown, three; Thomas, two; Kay-Smith, two; Evans, one; Spencer, two; Dixon, one; Tisbury, two; Clark, one; Allen, three; Holmes, four; Hopgood, three. Post-section play resulted:—Hopgood beat Allen, 6-4; Clent beat Hagen, 6-4; W. J. Brown beat Holmes, 9-5; Breen beat Spencer, 10-5. Play was suspended because of rain.
