POLITICAL BICKERING

(Rec. 9 p.m.) OTTAWA, March 3. The Prime Minister, Mr Mackenzie King, accused the Conservative leader of the House, Mr Hanson, and other Opposition members of being under the influence of Nazi principles, when they criticised the Government’s proposed Man-Power Plebiscite Bill. Mr Hanson said that the plebiscite was a red herring with which the Prime Minister was trying to fool the people. Mr Mackenzie King said that Mr Hanson was attempting to make political capital of his criticism of the Bill.
