BORSTAL INMATE ESCAPES

Raymond Skeene Jenkins, a seaman, aged 17, an inmate of the Invercargill Borstal Institution, escaped from the Borstal Farm about 3 o’clock on Monday afternoon. He is sft Bin in height, is of medium build, has fair hair, blue eyes and has a mole on his right forearm and another by his left eye. He was wearing either white or grey trousers, a grey hat and black boots. At a late hour last night the escapee had not been recaptured.
