Robertson, Tapanui to offer by Public Auction as above: — Thoroughbred and Trotting Horses as follows: — Thoroughbred Brood Mare, “Paigle” by Night Raid-Rose Lady with Man’s Pal Filly Foal at foot. “Paigle” is the Dam of Peony Rose (Wyndham Cup, Winton Cup, Gore Jubilee Handicap and £2250 in stakes) and Filibeg a winner of 2 races, several times placed, Sally Lunn winner of 2 races and sold recently for 700 guns, to a North buyer. Thoroughbred 2 yrs. old Filly “Gammer” by Man’s Pal-Paigle. (Has been broken in and worked). Trotting Mare “Probationer” by Wrack-Our Nurse (Served by Sandydale). Probationer was leading stake earner in Southland and held records at Forbury 3.16 for 11 miles, Addiqgton Mile Saddle 2.8. She is also the Dam of Oregon. Trotting Mare “Popotunoa” 3yrs. by Gratton Loyal-Probationer. (Broken in and gaited). Trotting Gelding 1 year. Quite SureProbationer. (Has been taught to lead).
