AIR CASUALTIES
(P.A.) WELLINGTON, February 20. The following casualties tc» New Zealand air personnel serving overseas were announced tonight (all R.N.Z.A.F. unless otherwise indicated): — FLYING OFFICER WILLIAM THORPE EIBY, slightly wounded on air operations; father, Mr H. W. Eiby, Auckland. SQUADRON LEADER GEORGE LAWLOR BERNAYS HARRIS, R.A.F., missing on air operations; wife, Mrs M. Harris, England. SERGEANT ALBERT HENRY LEEDS JACKSON, missing on air operations; father. Mr W. Jackson, Auckland. PILOT OFFICER RONALD WALTER KING, missing on air operations; father, Mr A*. King, Timaru. PILOT OFFICER JOHN REGINALD REENBERG, killed in an aircraft accident; mother, Mrs E. Reenberg, London. SERGEANT CHARLES CECIL SHAW, killed in aircraft accident; father, Mr C. Shaw, Christchurch. SERGEANT VERNON ALFRED WALTERS, killed in an aircraft accident; father, Mr F. W. Walters, Wellington. PILOT OFFICER lAN MURRAY VASE FIELD, previously reported missing believed killed, death now officially presumed to have occurred last October.
