DELIVERY OF MAIL STOPPED

About 200 Invercargill residents will now have to call at the Chief Post Office for their mails. Delivery to their houses by postmen has been stopped because they did not erect gate letter boxes or have existing letter boxes removed to the street lines within reach of the postmen while standing at the gates. Delivery will be resumed on advice being received by the Post Office that boxes have been erected according to specifications.
