GARRISON AT FIJI REINFORCED
NEW ZEALAND TROOPS (P.A.) WELLINGTON, February 20. The Minister of Defence, the Hon.. F. Jones, stated, in reply to an inquiry, that troops which left New Zealand in the middle of December and early in January were in Fiji. Mr Jones also stated that a party of VA..D. and medical reinforcements that sailed on a hospital ship just before Christmas proceeded to the Middle East.
