BOMB OUTRAGES IN NORWAY
STOCKHOLM, February 4.
Swedish newspaper correspondents from Oslo report waves of fires and bomb outrages in Norway because of Norwegian resentment at Major Vidkun Quisling’s installation as Prime Minister. A rubber factory at Askim, one of Norway’s larges ./was burned down on Tuesday, also a factory at Drammen. A fire also started in the National Theatre in Oslo, but was quickly put out. Bombs thrown at Parliament Building and the University .of Oslo caused little damage. Fires are also reported to have occurred at two railway stations when extra trains were about to leave. A big motor factory at Bergen was burned on Tuesday. So far none of the perpetrators of the fires have been discovered, but if the policy of investigation is without result collective reprisals may be expected.
