Fair to Fine (Special) WELLINGTON, February 5. Following is the special weather forecast for Southland issued by the Meteorological Office, Wellington:— Southerly winds fresh in some exposed positions, but decreasing. A few showers at first in the east, but weather becoming fair to fine. Temperatures cold. The weather in Invercargill yesteiday was, for the most part, overcast and cold. There was a fairly strong wind from the south-west during the day. At one o’clock this morning the weather was mild and clear. The barometer reading was 30.04 in (rising).
