“HAPPY NEW YEAR” ART UNION (P.A.) WELLINGTON, January 28. The “Happy New Year” Art Union was drawn this morning, the principal prizes being won by:— First, £2000: 74728, “Blacksmith,” Rotorua.
Second, £500: 155836, “Lucky Four,” Auckland.
Third, £250: 44479, “Last One,” Miss L. B. K., Auckland. Fourth, £150: 100964, “Tra La La,” Taihape. Fifth, £100: 115472, “Passing By,” Lower Hutt.
