OPENING DATES FOR NEW SCHOOL YEAR
All primary schools and district high schools in Southland will begin the new school year on Monday next, February 2. The Southland Boys’ and Girls’ High Schools, the Southland Technical High School, and the Gore High School will re-open on the following day. St. John’s Girls’ School, St. Catherine’s College and the primary and secondary departments of the Marist Brothers’ School will also open on Tuesday. The evening classes of the Southland Technical High School will not begin until Monday, February 23.
