Changeable With Showers
(Special) WELLINGTON, January 28. Following is the special weather forecast for Southland issued by the Meteorological Office, Wellington:— Moderate to fresh south-west to west winds. Weather rather changeable with some scattered showers, chiefly in the south. Temperatures cool to moderate.
The weather in Invercargill yesterday was warm. In the morning the sun shone brightly, but in the afternoon the sky became overcast and there was a light shower of rain. At one o’clock this morning the weather was calm and cloudy. The barometer reading was 29.88 in (steady).
