MAHAINA WINS HACK CUP

(P.A.) NEW PLYMOUTH, December 29. The second day of the Taranaki Jockey Club’s Christmas meeting was held in sunny weather on Saturday. The track was excellent. The attendance was good and the totalizator handled £21,369/10/- compared with £26,252 last year. The total for the meeting was £40,043/10/- compared with £51,347 last year, a decrease of £11,303 10/-. Results:—
