REWARD INCREASED.—A reward of £5OO ha> now been offered by Mr W. B. Baker, of Russell, for information leading to the recovery of the aircraft in which his son, Leading-Air-craftman Charles William Baker, and Leading-Aircraftman Winston Cannell, of Matamata, are missing from the Ohakea Ai~ Force station.—P.A. WOMEN AMBULANCE DRIVERS.— To meet the war-time difficulty in replacing male drivers, the committee of the Wanganui St. John Free Ambulance is to utilize the services of women. At a meeting oi the committee two women drivers were appointed to replace two men who resigned and it was decided to apnoint 12 women members of the A .W.S-A. transport section to the ambulance auxiliary.— P.A. ,
