DEMONSTRATION BY BOY SCOUTS

A display of scout work will be given by Invercargill Boy Scouts in the Civic Theatre tonight. The Southland School of Highland and classic dancing will assist the scouts in the display, and a programme has been arranged that will include choir items, a tumbling display, sea shanties, ballets and Highland and national dancing. Rosalie Ferry, Marie Winders, Isobel Lange and Master Alex Lange will also give items and the new Broadway dance band will be heard during the evening. Mr Alex Sutherland will be stage director.
