A. G. SUTHERLAND TO PLAY ON WING
AIR FORCE TEAM FOR GAME AGAINST ROSSLYN PARK
(Rec. 9.30 p.m.) LONDON, Nov. 22. The New Zealand Royal Air Force team to play against Rosslyn Park at Richmond on November 29 includes two Maoris, Sergeant H. Tomoana, a former scrum half of Hawke’s Bay and Sergeant J. Wetere, formerly of the New Zealand Maori team. Both are playing as backs. The team will be playing in traditional All Black formation—full back, three-quarters, two five-eighths and a scrum half. Both wing threequarters, Pilot Officer E. Grant, of Auckland and Sergeant A. G. Sutherland, of Southland, have played in All Black trials.
The forwards include Sergeant Goulding of Canterbury, who played for the Harlequins before going to New Zealand, and Pilot Officer E. Cox, D.F.C., of Hawke’s Bay. Three forwards, Pilot Officers W. Knight, W. Kent and L. A. C. Bromfield, have played for Auckland in interprovincial matches. Sergeant D. K. Samson, of Wellington, is also among the forwards.
