LIFESAVING SOCIETY’S AWARDS

Passes for the Royal Life-saving Society's bronze medallion have been gained by members of a class from the Southland Girls’ High School. The following girls were successful:—R. Morris, P. Wylie, M. Cushen, D. Gimblett, E. Johnson, M. Sullivan, N. Pedlar; bar to bronze medallion, J. Morgan; first class instructor’s badge, M. Morris. The class was organized by Miss Geddes of the Girls’ High School. The examiners for the society were Messrs A. J. Kingsland and E. J. Salisbury.
