SCOUT DEMONSTRATION IN CIVIC THEATRE

A grand demonstration by the Invercargill Boy Scouts, assisted by the Southland School of Highland and Classic Dancing, will be presented in the Civic Theatre on Wednesday, November 26.

A comprehensive programme has been arranged which will include choir items, a tumbling display, sea shanties, ballets and Highland and national dancing. The assisting performers will be Misses Rosalie Ferry and Marie Winders, Miss Isobel Lange and Master Alex Lange. As the Boy Scouts have assisted many city institutions the public is asked to rally round and show its appreciation by helping the boys. Mr Alex Sutherland will be stage director. The box plan opens at Begg’s tomorrow.
