The depot committee wishes to inform all sub-centres and committees that unless any urgent call for hospital goods comes to hand there will be no further supplies of sewing forwarded to the various branches for this year. V.A.D. CLASSES Mechanics will meet at Vickery’s garage on Wednesday at 7 p.m. The home nursing class will meet on Wednesday at 7 p.m. in the voluntary aid rooms, Express Company buildings. The sanitation and hygiene class will be held on Tuesday at 7.30 p.m. in the room at U.F.S. hall, Tay street. Drill will be held as usual at Rugby Park at 10 a.m. The society wishes to thank the following for donations:—Wyndham subcentre, £2O; Invercargill Ladies’ Golf Club, 12/-; Spar Bush Women's Institute, old linen; Wyndham District High School, one quilt. The members of the Waikiwi committee will be in charge of the depot next week. The members of the South Invercargill Committee are asked to meet at the residence of the secretary on Monday at 7 p.m. The committee acknowledges with thanks a donation of a pair of socks from Miss J. McDonald.
