MATCHES POSTPONED IN EASTERN SOUTHLAND All tennis competition matches in Eastern Southland have been postponed for an indefinite period. The Eastern Southland Lawn Tennis Sub-Associa-tion has made this decision because of the fact that petrol licences have been - withdrawn from sports bodies. The association’s district is a fairly scattered one and it is considered that it would be impossible to continue matches without petrol licences.
