LITTLE ACTIVITY IN LIBYA

(8.0.W.) RUGBY, October 24. A communique from Cairo headquarters states that in Libya, apart from some light enemy shelling of the harbour at Tobruk which caused no damage, the situation throughout yesterday was quiet. Enemy air activity was also on a reduced scale. Patrolling activities were continued in the frontier area, though no contact was made with the enemy.
