HOLIDAY RUSH ON RAILWAYS
The rush of traffic on the railways for the Labour Day holiday began yesterday. A special express, which left Invercargill for Christchurch at 6.40 p.m., was very well patronized and a large number of people arrived in the city by the ordinary through express from Christchurch and by a special express from Dunedin, which arrived at 10.30 p.m.
