NEWLY FORMED BAND OF HOPE
The first meeting of the newlyformed “Band of Hope,” Sylvan Bank (First Church), was held in the Sunday School at Sylvan Bank. There were 45 children present. The Rev. J.
A. Thomson gave an interesting address. The following items were contributed by the children: Songs, Shirley Lowe and Fay Morrison, Graham Winders, Alexia Murray, Dale Morrison and Alexia Murray, Beverly Cook and Shirley Jolly, Gwenda McGill and Beryl Sherlock, Shirley Lowe and Norma Morrison; recitations. Gwenda McGill, Dale Morrison, Shirley Lowe, John Brown, and Graham Winders and Colin Gibson.
