PRIVATE NO-PARK SIGNS IN CITY
The increasing number of moveable no-park signs in Invercargill was discussed at the last meeting of the Road Signs Committee of the Automobile Association (Southland). In a report presented by the committee to last night’s general committee meeting of the association it was stated that the following resolution had been carried:— “The Road Signs Committee views with alarm the increasing number of movable no-park signs in the city and would like some, indication of the grounds on which they are granted.” It was decided at last night’s meeting that the association should write to the City Council stating that it would appreciate a list of the private no-park signs outside business premises in the city.
